Asst. Prof. Qasim A. Atiyah received his Ph.D. (2007) in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering in University of Baghdad- Iraq. He graduated from University of Baghdad - Iraq in 1997 and 2000 for his bachelor and master degrees. Currently, he is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Technology- Iraq. He authored and co-authored nearly 30 papers published in high ranking prestigious international journals and conferences. His research fields focus on Vibration, Control, Dynamics, Design, Smart material (SMAs &FGMs), and Stress Analysis.
