The mechanical engineering team for futsal has won against the civil engineering team for female students in the game that happened between them on Sunday 30-12-2018 and the result was 5-0. Congratulations!

The meeting of the head of the mechanical engineering department with graduate students

  The head of the mechanical engineering department met the departments' graduate students on Monday 4/12/2018 at Dr. Hashim Alsamarrai Hall to follow their study and solve any issues they have in their educational study. Some faculy members also attended the meeting and some graduate department employees.

Our department team has won the game against the oil department team by four goals by one goal only. Thus, our team has raised to the second level as he became the champion of his group…    Congratulations for our team!

A scientific visit for power plants engineering branch – third year students.

The department of mechanical engineering organized a scientific visit to the second power plant of southern Baghdad power generation station. The students were accompanied by a number of faculty members of the department.

During the visit, a lecture was given to the student by the training department of the power plant about the parts of the power plant and how it works and then there was a field visit to the control room. The students were excited and asked several questions while interacting with their guide for the tour.
