participation in the scientific training program on cybersecurity

        With the increasing reliance on the digital services provided by the University of Technology through the Information Technology Center, and the advantages these services offer and the rise of digital threats, it has become one of the most important priorities of the university to adopt the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in approving specialized programs and courses in cybersecurity to serve the university teaching staff and students.

In order to contribute to increasing the level of students’ awareness of digital threats and their risks and damages, we would like to inform you about the establishment of a scientific and entertaining training camp for cybersecurity in cooperation with the Firewall Company for Cybersecurity Services. It is planned to set up the camp in the governorates of Erbil and Dohuk for a period of seven days, including travel days, where the company will transport the participants and provide them with housing and training at a price of (130) US dollars, knowing that the price decreases when the participating students’ number increases.

   Therefore, we invite all scientific departments to urge their students to participate in this training camp by filling out the electronic information form below, noting that the camp will be held during the spring break period and according to the attached program.

  the status of the university gates

          We would like to inform you of the university doors’ status, as agreed upon with the University Follow-up Department, as follows:

• The main reception section gate of Al-Sinaa Street is on foot only, for members, students and guests to facilitate entry.
• Entry and exit through the gate of the Continuing Education Center, from seven o’clock until nine o’clock in the morning and from one o’clock until two o’clock in the afternoon, are on foot only.
• Entry and exit through the Presidency Gate are only for members of the Presidency of the University.
• Entry and exit through the gate of the clock are on foot, as well as the wheels designated for the presidential garage.
• Entry and exit through the tower gate (Applied Sciences) for the floors garage wheels (teaching staff and those who are covered by the use of a multi-storey garage) and on foot as well for employees and students. Artificial bumps will be placed as directed.
• Entry and exit through the electricity gate, the branch next to the university, is reserved for teachers’ garages and employees’ entry exclusively.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering holds a meeting of its general assembly.

     The Department of Mechanical Engineering held a meeting of the faculty members in the hall of the late Dr. Munir Al-Muzaffar, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd, the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Moayad Razouqi Hassan, and all faculty members in the department.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, in his speech, congratulated the attendees on the new Gregorian year, wishing it to be a year of prosperity and success for all.

The meeting dealt with a number of important axes related to raising the scientific level and the number of students accepted in primary studies through improving the central admission plan, raising student admission rates at the university, implementing ministerial instructions and controls for students with restricted restrictions and transit students, and ending the confusion of work on this subject, as well as discussing the law of including the faculty staff in the civil defense guards, shedding light on the preparation of scientific research and publishing within the containers of discrete scientific publishing and its relationship to the annual performance evaluation, and encouraging teachers to continue scientific research and ways to improve it

In line with the directions of the department’s presidency and as a legacy that the department’s employees are accustomed to, in honoring the teachers, retired employees, and teachers who have received scientific promotions, the university president and the department head presented souvenirs in honor of their efforts during their scientific career, which provided a large group of generations with different sciences in a march full of achievements academic, ethical, and educational.

Mechanical Engineering Department holds the thirteenth student festival of General Mechanical

Engineering Branch for the academic year 2021-2022. Sponsored by the President of the Technological University, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghaban, and under the supervision of the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Muayed Razouqi Hassan, held today, Wednesday 25/5/2020, on the hall of Dr. Munir Al-Muzaffar, the thirteenth Student Festival of General Mechanical Engineering Branch. Under the slogan (Mechanical Engineering and its Applied Contributions) and in cooperation with the General Company for Inspection and Qualification. Baghdad Industrialist and soft drinks company. As the festival opened with national peace, then reciting any of the wise men and reading Surat Al-Fatiha on the souls of our righteous martyrs, after which Dr. (Sadiq Hussein Bakhi) the head of the branch gave a speech in which the branch of General Mechanic has been established since the establishment of the Technology University in 1975 with the aim of a A number of engineers who are familiar with modern scientific methods In the field of expertise, we are able to convert scientific theory data into practical reality through the development of scientific, practical and analytical capabilities. The festival included a number of scientific lectures, the first was titled (Orthodontics and Mechanical Engineering) by Dr. Ammar Salem Kazem from Baghdad University, Faculty of Dentistry, and the second lecture was titled (The Role of Engineers in the Advancement of National Industry) by President Muhannad Seven Star Gesture Hassan, Director of Production Operations Department at Baghdad Soft Drinks Company The third lecture, its title is (Inspection and Engineering Rehabilitation: Tests, Consulting, Researches and Work Services), was given by the head of engineers Ahmed Abdul Zahra Ajlan from the General Company for Engineering Inspection and Qualification in the Ministry of Industry and Metals, and also a number of discussions were discussed. One of the projects that the students of the fourth phase of the branch graduated in a scientific environment that promotes valuable scientific discussions . At the end of the festival, appreciation certificates and shields were distributed to the participating teachers and students. Then, I presented the graduation projects of the fourth stage students of the branch and attended them, wishing them success and success in their academic career.
